“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
Faith or belief takes us to the world of possibilities. If we can dare believe, all things are possible to us. It takes faith to please God and procure His intervention in our lives. Do you want to see the glory of God in your life? Then settle down with a faith walk. “… if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)
The pursuit of our vision or dream in life is a function of our faith! A businessman who does not believe in his business will not be success-driven.
What drives a man in the execution of his business goals is not just passion but faith. Faith is a propeller of business success! Do you see married couples that do not have faith in their marriages? Without faith, they will struggle endlessly. Even healing is impossible without the instrumentality of faith. ”Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” (Matthew 9:29)
Faith is highly critical to us in our day-to-day operations. As a minister, I have chosen intentionally to work on my faith constantly. Why? Without faith in God and His power, my life or ministry will be fruitless or barren. To an extent, the unproductive and unfruitful ministry is largely on the account of faithlessness.
Let’s consider 3 functions of faith:
- With faith, we can secure a good report.
“For by it the elders obtained a good report.” (Heb 11:2)
Every good report we obtain in life makes our neighbours agree that our faith is working. Living or working faith shows we are alive in and with God of all possibilities!
- With faith, we can remove mountains
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
The easiest way to remove our obstacles is to have faith.
- With faith we become overcomers
‘For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4)
Faith remains our overcoming instrument. With it, we can overcome the world.
I decree and declare that your faith will be alive and working in Jesus’ mighty name!
