“David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.”

The killing of Goliath was a major feat which impacted the nation of Israel positively. But what was the instrument used to confront this giant? Faith of course! David’s faith emanated from the testimonies of how God intervened in his encounters with the lion and bear.

Testimonies are catalysts designed by God to boost our faith toward achieving more testimonies or results. Our next challenge or project will not be a big deal, if we dare ride on the wings of past testimonies. The problem the children of Israel had in the wilderness was because they failed to appreciate the acts of God in their past. They denigrated the testimonies of God’s miraculous acts in Egypt, hence their faithlessness to trust God for more interventions. Jesus Christ and His disciples were on a mission, when they encountered a great storm on the high sea which threatened their lives. The disciples failed to believe God for their deliverance because they did not consider the previous miracle of the loaves! The Bible says, “And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered. For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.”
Mark 6:51-52

If they had considered how God fed the people miraculously, their faith would have been boosted to confront the storm without fidgeting.

Any time you are challenged, try to reflect and recollect the acts of God in the past, and your faith will be boosted to confront the current challenge.

3 keys to boost your faith:

1. The spirit of Faith!
   “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”
   2 Corinthians 4:13
   You can boost your faith via the spirit of Faith. If you are a child of God, you have access to the Holy Spirit.
   The Holy Spirit is God’s Agent for faith development. He has the ministry of ensuring that our faith is developed or boosted to accomplish exploits. Do you want faith that will provoke or command impact? Then ask the Holy Spirit to bless you with the spirit of Faith.
2. The Word of Faith
   “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;”
   Romans 10:8
   The supernatural exploits cannot be separated from the word of faith. It is the entrance of the word of faith into your heart that sparks off faith that will eventually procure exploits.
3. Testimonies of other people!
   The truth is that the testimonies of other people can boost your faith!
   When people stand in church to testify to the power and faithfulness of God in their lives, try to pay attention, because such testimonies can be replicated in your life. Someone said, “If God has blessed your neighbour, it shows that God is within your neighbourhood.”

God who did your neighbour’s, will do yours too, as He is not a respecter of persons. The Bible says, “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
Acts 10:34-35

I decree and declare that your faith shall be boosted to command outstanding results in Jesus mighty name!
