“O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.”
Psalms 84:12
The All-Powerful God has great benefits or blessings in store for those who trust in Him! Trusting God is about placing your trust or confidence in Him because He is capable, dependable and reliable!
Trusting God is about believing Him to help you in times of need. Some people are in the dangerous habit of trusting in men or themselves; not knowing that they are procuring curses on themselves. The Bible says, “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” Jeremiah 17:5
It is foolishness to allow your heart to depart from the Lord! It is foolishness to trust in mere men who cannot help especially when the chips are down! It is far better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man. The Bible says, “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.”
Psalms 118:8-9
It is beneficial to trust in God’s power, not in human ability or wisdom! Apostle Paul enjoined us in 1 Corinthians 2:5, that our faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Now let’s consider 3 benefits of trusting God:
- Dwelling in the land
“Trust in the LORD, and do good, so shalt thou dwells in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.”
Psalms 37:3
One outstanding benefit of trusting God is that He will cause you to dwell in the land. If you trust God, He will establish you as an institution or a force to be reckoned with in your community, nation and generation. Trust Him now and always! - Fatness
“… but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.”
Proverbs 28:25
The easiest way to be abundantly satisfied or to be made fat is to trust in God and His capacity to enrich us. The Bible says, “They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house, and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.”
Psalms 36:8 - Safety
“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
Proverbs 29:25
Do you want to enjoy safety? Do you want God to preserve you and your family? Then resolve today to place your confidence in Him. He has what it takes to keep you in safety! As He will instruct His angels to watch over you!
I decree and declare that as you trust or depend on the Lord, He will arise to help you in Jesus’ mighty name!
Yours sincerely,
