“But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:7
Beloved of God, don’t be afraid or anxious about anything! God is in perfect control. If He cares for sparrows, He will care much more for you. Why? Because you are more valuable to Him. After all, you are created in His image!
Fear not, because He is your present help in times of trouble. He’s your fortress! He’s your rock of defence! The Bible says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth is removed, and though the mountains are carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.”
Psalm 46:1-3
Fear is a terrible emotion that undermines your happiness and can hold you back throughout your life. I see fear as the devil’s most terrible arsenal or weapon he uses to stop us from achieving our goals and objectives. Don’t allow any fear to stop or cripple you. Yes, many people have been so tormented by the fear that they feel so incapacitated to make progress or achieve anything worthwhile. But you can be different! No doubt, many crazy things are going on around us today that promote fears. Every day our news media both traditional and social media are awash with news of conflicts, armed robbery, kidnapping, natural disasters, terrorism, rape, friends backstabbing friends, spouses killing and maiming spouses, and economic uncertainty! Fears are real! But more real is the settled promise of God to be with us in all situations and circumstances. We may not be in control, but we can trust God who is. We may not know the future, but we can trust God who does. God’s Word is given to us to uphold us in times of fear and weakness.
Anytime the devil shoots the arrow of fear into your heart remember that:

  1. God is with you!
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
    Isaiah 41:10
  2. God has not given you the spirit of fear!
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and a sound mind.”
    2 Timothy 1:7
  3. Your trust in God will make a difference!
David said, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
    Psalms 56:3
I decree and declare that you will overcome every fear tormenting your life and destiny in Jesus’ mighty name!
    Yours sincerely,
