“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Psalms 46:1
God is our present help in times of need or trouble. Do you know that God has the ability or capacity to help you at any given time? Do you know that His help could get to you right on time? The Bible says “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.”
Psalms 46:5
The truth is that no man or king can help you and me if God does not approve or sanction it from heaven. Don’t forget that a man can receive nothing except it be given him from above. Knowing that God is your present help in times of trouble, could make you call on Him at any time. God remains the veritable headquarters of all kinds of help. The Bible says, “And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barn floor, or out of the winepress?”
2 kings 6:26-27
The King’s response aptly and ably validates the fact that God remains the true Source of help, and only He can truly help us. The truth is that any help that does not emanate from God will not suffice or satisfy. There is help and there is help There is help that comes right on time, I mean at the nick of time. May God’s help come right on time for you! Like the blessing of Judah as declared on him by Moses in Deuteronomy 33:7, God shall be a Help to you from your enemies!
Let’s consider the ABCs of enjoying divine help:

  1. Ask for it desperately!
“And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask the help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.”
    2 Chronicles 20:4
  2. Beckon boldly on God!
“Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
    Hebrews 4:16
  3. Cry out for it!
In 2 Chronicles 18:31, the enemies compassed Jehoshaphat, thinking he was the king of Israel and wanted to kill him but Jehoshaphat cried out to the LORD for help and God moved his enemies from him.
Do you want your enemies to be moved far from you? Then cry out for help from the Lord. His timely help or intervention will make the difference!
I decree and declare that you will enjoy divine help always in Jesus’ mighty name!
