How to Increase your Faith

“And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.”
Luke 17:5
Is it possible to increase or develop your faith? Yes! It is vitally important to develop your faith so that you can please God. The Bible says, “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6
Faith is about you depending on or relying on the power or ability of God. The Bible says, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:5
3 ways to develop your faith:

1. Keep hearing the word!
   “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
   Romans 10:17
   Anytime you hear the Word of God, you are programming your faith for development. Hearing God’s Word is God’s method for increasing your faith.
2. Keep keeping company with faith-driven people!
   “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”
   Proverbs 27:17
   People you company with can influence your faith development positively or negatively. If your friend likes walking by faith, you are most likely going to walk by faith too. Don’t forget, if you walk with the wise, you will become wise. It means also that if you keep keeping company with people of faith, you are likely going to develop your faith. It is wise, therefore, to keep company with brethren who will sharpen your faith!
3. Keep praying in Tongues!
   “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,”
   Jude 1:20
   Praying in the Holy Ghost is all about praying in tongues! And praying in tongues will increase or develop your faith. When you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit helps you to pray accordingly. The Bible says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
   Romans 8:26
   I decree and declare that your faith will experience growth always in Jesus’ mighty name!
